Record times for syndicated newsmagazines

Are newsmagazines like The Jay Leno Show or Letterman? I'm asking in the sense of when these shows record. Do they shoot earlier in the day for broadcast later in that specific day? What time do the following shows record?:

1. Entertainment Tonight (CBS-Paramount)
2. Extra (Telepictures)
3. Access Hollywood (NBC-Universal)
4. The Insider (CBS-Paramount)
5. TMZ (Telepictures)

Don't quote me but I believe most of the shows tape early in the day (before noon?) unless there is some major breaking news event (Michael Jackson's death??) for which they might be able to quickly tape a whole new show or segment to send out to their affiliates.

ET and The Insider are partner shows and now use adjoining HD studios as of last year. Here's an article on that although it doesn't mention the time of day that they tape:

My understanding is Letterman is taped at 5:30pm with Friday's show being recorded on Thursday. Think Leno is or was around the same time Pacific. I could have told you syndicated feed times in 1994 but not currently.

Access Hollywood and Extra feed live at 4 PM ET, and they both send a refeed that is sometimes updated or a re-edit at 6 PM. They also send a version without date references around 11 PM for stations that air the show the next morning or afternoon. There's also a 5PM feed of Extra that contains a promo for the next day's Ellen, that is obviously only for stations that also carry Ellen.
