Recording Sirius onto a computer

Rumor has it that there is an inexpensive way to record broadcasts on Sirius that does not involve Time Trax. If anyone has some information please let me know, Thanks

There is. It's called wiring your receiver's audio output into your computer's soundcard and using a program to record the audio from it. Simplest thing in the world.

I make a homemade podcast of "Derek And Romaine" for myself this way each night, so I can listen to them at my leisure.

Would be nice if someone wanted to do that for Stern and BTLS everyday :)

I'm sure someone will, but whether or not they distribute it is another matter (since to redistribute the recording would be illegal).

They already do it, however, there are also a few peercasters who have been doing a live relay, I'll bet they will continue.
