Red Eye on Fox News Channel - TERRIBLE!

As a conservative patriotic Reagan Republican, I do love the Fox News Channel. But this show makes me cringe. it's just the worst piece of trash I've ever seen on a news channel. I especially despise the "Halftime Report". I know Fox News wants to bring in the younger conservative audience late at night (as the show as one run at 2 AM Eastern, 11 PM Pacific) but is this really the way to do it?

Some of the recent hires, especially females, have me shaking my head about what is going on at FNC.

One the other hand, the "Half Hour News Hour" which ran last Sunday and is having an encore showing this Sunday at 10 PM and 1 AM Eastern time was HILARIOUS. It has great potential. It's about time we conservatives have a show to both poke fun at ourselves and at the liberal lunatics. Don't miss the encore if you didn't see it last week. Another new episode runs on 3/4. Fox News only ordered two episodes, i hope they pick up it up for a full year long commitment.

Fake post. To truly enjoy The 1/2 Hour News Hour you need a full frontal lobotomy.
 
I like FNC and Red Eye is an enjoyable, laid-back approach to news. Especially for the late evening. I like hard news coverage but the change offered by Red Eye is appealing.
 
Tribune is actually suing News Corp and FNC, claiming they have a copyright on "Red-Eye" from their Red-Eye edition of the Chicago Tribune. I've tried to watch it. It's trying to hard to appeal to younger demos. It's mostly smut news and infotainment.

And I used to be a Reagan Republican, 7+ years of Bush has scared me straight. ;) I won't elaborate, or we might end up in TIO. ;D
