Red Sox Announcer Decision

It seems like it's taking a significant amount of time to make the decision for the Red Sox radio booth. Here's some questions that I have:

1. Is Lou Merloni a shoe-in on this? Last I heard it was narrowed to 5 with Lou being the leading contender.
2. How is Lou at play-by-play? In radio, he would have to do a few innings of play-by-play. I think of him as more of a color guy, but perhaps I'm mistaken.
3. Would Entercom move Joe Castiglione back to the head radio position after moving him down to the second tier position previously?
4. Would they consider a 3 person booth? New new head play by play guy, then Joe, then Lou.

Thoughts?
