RED SOX GAMES ON 95.5 WBRU

With the Boston Celtics now in the playoffs, 103.7 is carrying the games and have moved the Red Sox games to 95.5 WBRU during conflicting times. How do you think this happened? Who approached who and is there money involved?
 
I hope BRU dont start sounding like that Trash ( WBCN/PATS ) in Boson .
 
It wouldn't surprise me to know that Entercom approached WBRU about it. I think PRO-AM would jump all over the Sox if they became availible, even for select games during the NBA playoffs. Especially since the Score is gone.
 
whats interesting is how do you fiind out? i just happen to stumbled upon it the other night when i tuned in and the celtics were. i got luckey hitting the seek button ands it stopped on BRU with the sox. i haven't seen any advertising at all. saw plenty when the sox were on cox when the briuns were in the playoffs

On the days of conflicting games on WEEI-FM, there have been announcements during the day that the game could be heard on 95.5. Entercom wouldn't approach Citadel about it, would have either been WCTK or WBRU-the only other 2 real unaffiliated stations in the market left
 
I wonder if they'll be broadcasting today's game also? They aren't broadcasting the pre game show, but I'm not sure if they did that for the other games or not. Maybe 360 Sunday is too important to them to pre-empt?

I found it on 101.9 while I was out driving, seeing as the Celts game is over, my guess is they'll pick up what's left in progress....
 
103.7 picked up the Red Sox game which was joined in progress..both games started at about the same time on Sunday..

95.5 has been mentioned in the lineup of dial positions carrying whatever was to be carried..having the Revolution and having to carry it on WEEI only complicates things with the Celtics in the postseason..
