Red Sox Radio Network 2013

Wasn't expecting to see WBOQ return with all games on 93.7 now. And wasn't WQUN 1220 Hamden, CT, on the network last year? It's not this year.

On a trip to Syracuse in 2011, I was shocked to hear a Red Sox affiliate there. I take it that it exists no longer?

That was the "ESPN Syracuse" quadcast (WTLA 1200/WSGO 1440 and two translators), and they switched to the Mets last summer, sadly.

Correct. WQUN was 1 of 2 Ct. stations to air the Red Sox in A.M. Stereo.

Now that I'm not using the 1959 Univac anymore, I can't seem to be able to start a topic. I'll have to figure it out. Actually, not sure if it's worth a new topic, but Remy took Minihane "to the woodshed" this morning over a column he wrote last year. Minihane sounded a little Ralph Kramden-like, (homina, homina, homina) and then discussed it with Remy. It seemed like a pretty awkward moment. I would think that Remy might have said something off the air rather than on the air. Was this staged? They seem to be playing up all of these "feuds" that Minihane seems to get into.

1350 WINY isn't on the list either. There have been errors on these affiliate lists in the past though. It really makes no sense for WBOQ to still broadcast the Sox. The 104.9 and 93.7 transmitters now have to only be a couple miles away from each other.

104.9 is still aboard

They need the money (can sell ads to local businesses) and visibility and WEEI doesn't mind. And hey there could be the occasional time when the C's are on 93.7 and Sox bumped to 850 and 104.9
could be a nice alternative... but I know what you mean.

I'm so glad I can hear the SOX at the DUDE RANCH in Montana!
