Red Zebra Broadcasting will buy WXGI Richmond. WXGI-AM will be the Richmond home of the Washington Redskins starting with the 2006 season. The station will also continue to carry ESPN programming. “I am excited about our continued growth and our new ability to serve loyal Redskins fans in and around Richmond,” said Bennett Zier, CEO of Red Zebra Broadcasting. “WXGI is the perfect addition to our new group of radio stations.” Zier added, “We continue to look for ways to expand. Red Zebra Broadcasting remains in the buying business.”
