Reds on 100.7 FM?

I was hearing the Reds game tonight on 100.7 The River tonight for some reason, and now it's gone. Strange things happening over at CC Kenwood lately.

There is a new station over by Louisville in Southern Indiana -- WSLM 1220 AM that is a new Reds affiliate. someone said it was reaching down into Frankfurt KY and most of Southern Indiana. Does anybody know anything about the station? I've got a few requests for buys on the REDS but I thought I would check them out.

They aren't new, and I doubt that it reaches Frankfort. It barely reaches Louisville in the day with 5000 watts. At night they are like 83 watts or so. That's not happening. I doubt they have 100 listeners outside of Washington County, Indiana.

WSLM has been around for a very long time. They were so bad in 1974 I had to drive over there just to see what kind of place would produce radio like that. I was dumbfounded by what I saw there, and I was working for a pretty crappy place myself at the time. The last time I saw the place was around 1995 and it hadn't changed much.

Every now and then WSLM pictures make it on these boards. Most people can't believe it. Here is a thread- the pictures seem to be down but all you really need is the commentary:

The have a peanut pattern with nulls to the north/south and lobes to the east/west. I can tell you, they are NOT reaching Frankfort. They are doing good to cover Washington County. I wouldn't be surprised if they were not operating with 5kW daytime, either.
