Reds Wednesday day game was on 7 second delay

It's probably the delay to sync the analog with Iboc. Lately, the HD & analog have been out of sync. They've probably been running the analog without delay for the baseball listeners. I didn't listen today, so I'm not sure if they were back in sync or not.

WLW HD sounds great, but I'm sure that the delay is a huge headache for them.

I took the radio to the game and didnt notice a delay.

I don't usually listen to the radio, but I had one today. I turned it on after the hoopla with the plate umpire and the ejection of Coffey. This was pretty late in the game. It was definately delayed, I even counted off the seconds and it roughly worked out to about 6 or 7 seconds.

This was on WLW.

Perhaps a delay so that those watching on TimeWarner could mute the sound and listen to better play by play AND have it in sync, since TW now is 5-7 seconds in delay because of digitizing every station.

Listening here in Columbus and switching to a few other affiliate stations, WLW was definitely on a delay at the time of the Coffey ejection. When I took my radio to the Saturday Braves-Reds game a few weeks ago, 700 was on IBOC but there was no delay. That's been the case some other times when I've listened to WLW while watching the game on FSN; the radio still runs ahead by a second or so.
