Redundant Translator No More

All of a sudden, I can pick up ch. 57 again at my palatial West Chandler estate, and I'm seeing HSN instead of AZTV. Looks like the folks at Londen found a profitable use for that formerly redundant translator, and now that it's making money again, they've brought it back up to full power.

With Londen switching 57 to HSN, plus Latin America Broadcasting (LatTV) keeping ShopAtHome on 42 (for now), Usery Mtn. has become the center of the Valley's home shopping universe.

Ch. 25 is still broadcasting HSN (for now), but LatTV has plans to drop it for their own programming ASAP. They have no immediate plans of dropping ShopAtHome from ch. 42, but their website shows that they eventually plan to put LatTV on both 25 and 42.

Now, since it was reported here at Radio-Info.com that KDMA was selling to LatTV, and that LatTV was planning to drop HSN, leaving HSN with no OTA Phoenix outlet, I have to ask: "Mr. Hagerty, did you hear it here first, or did you know about it already?" :)

dhett:
This has been in the works here at 44th and Camelback for months.
