Reel Radio-Sacramento Airchecks

New airchecks of Sacramento radio have been posted on reelradio.com. They're in the Bryan Simmons collection. KXOA, KROY and KWOD are represented. It's an interesting look back...
 
It's too bad no airchecks of 1320 KCRA or KCRA-FM exist (that I'm aware of). I'd LOVE to hear what those stations sounded like.
 
I wish I had airchecks of the old 132, but when that station was popular I was a teen and was primarily focused on rock stations. I imagine that Johnny Hyde or perhaps Tom Romano may have some. Last time I saw Tom he was working for Clear Channel over on Ethan Way... I can say with some certainty that airchecks of KROY and KXOA between 1976 and 80 are few and far between on the internet. I've submitted a few more to Reel Radio, but they have yet to be posted.
