Reggaeton being played on KXTN

The pass Saturday night I heard Reggaeton being played on KXTN. DJ Javi(?) was mixing Reggaeton and Tejano. Ummm, not the best combination.

La Kalle 95.1 was only on the air for 3 months and manage to land in the Top 10. There's no doubt that Univision knows that there's an audience here but it's all about the bottom line. Spanish Oldies will bring in more $$$ than Reggaeton.

reggaeton on kxtn is every night, m-f 11-midnight and weekends 10-midnight, its mixed with the tejano cumbias and it mixes right in, sounds pretty good, but as always not everyone will like it so if you dont turn the station, as long as the majority of the people like it thats all you have to worry about, and from what I know its doing pretty good,

www.kxtn.com
its BigBoi on the Mic and Jammin J Javi mixing, BigBoi is 1 of the former djs from La Kalle and so is J. Anthony who follows on the overnights m-f, hes also from La Kalle.

Thanks for letting us know what time we can hear Reggaeton on 107.5. But how do you figure it's doing well? It's to soon to know if the listeners really like it.

FYI, I was a huge listerner of La Kalle 95.1. And I would love to see the format pop up again.
