Yes, that is WHKT from Portsmouth, VA on 1650. I can get that station during the winter usually 1-2 hours before sunset.
Charlotte's 1660, strangely, comes in very well during critical hours here in Charleston, even though I've heard that their day signal in Charlotte is horrible.
With our great water path, most of the East Coast can be picked up with a good radio durig the winter time. One time, several years ago, on a cloudy Election Day, I picked up WCBS from New York at 1:30 in the afternoon on a car radio here in Charleston.
WAGL, 1560 from Lancaster, SC also has a surprising signal, as the 50kw signal usually comes in almost like a local most of the day in fall and winter, with their beautiful standards music.
Charleston's AM signals also get out well, as I have heard 1250 as far away as Daytona Beach, FL well during the day, and I heard you could hear it at Cape Hatteras sometimes during the day. One day, I even heard 500 watt 910 in St. Augustine, not on the beach, but near the interstate by the outlets. ;D
