REGIS IS BACK ON "MILLIONAIRE"

He has been on all week... on Monday he acted like it was a "spur-of-the-moment" thing, stating "I'm here for the whole week... I think?"

I wonder if there are any personal issues/problems with Meredith? I hope she's ok.

I also noticed how they quietly did away with the "Phone A Friend" lifeline... now they are back to only three lifelines: The Double-Dip, Ask The Audience, and Ask The "Expert" (which we all know half the time isn't an "expert" at all! Sometimes the "Experts" seem to know less than the contestants, unless their name is Ken Jennings).

Contestants are now allowed to use the "Ask The Expert" at the beginning of the game, instead of having to wait until they reach the "Second Level" of questions.

I believe it was previously reported that it was scheduled to be a one-week sub for Meredith Vieira. She'll most likely be back next week. I don't know why he'd agree to return to hosting "Millionaire" full-time if it was not the primetime edition on ABC.

There are some times in which Meredith couldn't host, due to her Today Show commitments, which is why the show occasionally uses guest hosts to fill in.

The Live fill ins is because he had hip replacement surgery which btw was successful. He won't be back on Live until January.

That plus Millionaire is pre-taped. Regis would've done this several weeks ago.
