I tuned them in this morning after 9:30. They went on an on an on an on about GA 400. It was so bad that in a way it was good. It was a train wreck. They had nothing to talk about so on an on an on an on they went.

This can happen to anyone. I always tried to have about 3 hours of extra show prep, but sometimes what looked good yesterday really bits at 6:05am. Most of the time I played an extra song and could recover and use my emergency stuff but I only had to do 4 or 5 bits around commercial breaks an hour. I could use 5:30 to 6 am stuff after 9 am most of the time. I have not listened to TRG lately. IIRC they do a lot more talking than most people did in the 70’s 80’s or even the early 90’s. Unless you are Robin Williams, there are going to be days that you should have called in sick. I have had them, any anybody who is honest will admit to having one now and then. I have even heard that Howard Stern had a bad show last summer. Not often but it happens to everybody. I’m not a fan of TRG but everybody has a clunker. The real pros just don’t do it often.
