Morning everyone!

Why are the Regular Guys pushing the envelope once again? Yeah, I'm all about fighting the man (a/k/a FCC), but the "Pumper" and "Porn Czar" stuff is going too far.

For example, the free gas saying of the day is "Rub the Tip" and "Lick my milk mustache". And the "Porn Czar" review porn websites?

Are they going to get themselves kicked off the air again? Or atleast lose their redneck base with a alleged gay sidekick?

Because the mantra today is::: vulgarity IS talent. So, instead of saying that that’s a bad idea, or it just plain stinks. Some one at the meeting says. . .wow! that’s “cutting edge”, or that “pushing the envelope.”

These guys, have talent, but it’s hard to stay good, it’s much easier to just throw some sh%@#t on the air

I listen to O&A. on XM 202..yeah!!!!!!!! Opie and Anthony Rock!!!! Wooooo Whooooooo!!! Ya think this constitutes an assault on the media?

These guys are weak, they always have been. Much like the rest of CC's efforts here in the ATL.

At this point I listen to WSB for a news update then its straight to XM the rest of the day. Much like Walmart killing the local vendors, CC has done the same thing with Radio.

Just think, if the French fries at McDonald's sucked would you go back?

Yay! You graduated from college! What's your degree? Bachelor's in Taking Things Way Out of Context? Rodney, give this person a job with the AJC.

If you only went to McDonaldss and never tried anything else??? Yeah yeah, we all know WSB has better news than WGST, and Kirk Mellish is a better forecaster than any of the Fox5 Meteorologist, and that Capt. Herb is not only not really a Captain, but either is Art Mehring, and that half the staff at WSB used to be on GST, but now that they're on WSB, they suddenly got better. Whew, I feel better.

Sorry folks, I’ve actualllly been a tad busy today!!!

Lemme say I’m a devout blues based psychedelic rocker, so my choices in this town are quite limited.
I usually switch between WRFG’s blues blowout in the morning, and baby killin’ Bill Bennett, on WGKA (((I dig his professorial style))) and NPR’s Morning Edition. . . That being said, I’ll park the dial on ANYTHING that has substance. And, I really don’t mind good old fashioned goofy fun, IE. Phil Hendrie FINALLY Doesn’t have to compete with baseball..

But back to the point, what got the RG’s in trouble last go-round was the fact that they got into the whole “sleaze is funny” game

Just as it is on TEEEVEEE when a man gets hit in the nads, the first time its funny. . . the one millionth time and it’s a tired cliché; so it is in boom-box land. . . the first sexual innuendo is funny. . . the one millionth is tired.

So if GST was suddenly owned by someone else, that automatically makes them better? They sucked when Jacor owned them too, correct?

Yes, but only toward the end.

There was a time...long ago...when WGST had a 6 share and was actually beating WSB....at least from 9am-7pm.
