Regular Guys - Rock of Steve contest

While I'm sure I could send an e-mail to TRG's e-mail bucket, I was curious if anyone knows about the 'Rock of Steve' contest and why it disappeared from the Rock 100.5 website. I feel like it was just last week they were recruiting for contestants (and appropriate pictures) in order to win the $10,000 ring and become Steve's '390'.

Now, it is nowhere to be seen on the website and hasn't been discussed on the air... unless a winner was determined without much on-air discussion or posting of pictures (doubtful).

Was the contest pulled for being inappropriate... or did it complete successfully?
 
this is totally a guess cuz i dont know but maybe they killed steves 390 cuz of 389 cases of herpes? lol

just a guess. pls dont sue me barn- umm- ss steve.
 
You can not find the link on their website. I thought the same thing yesterday when I hadn't heard them promote for a couple of days.

Ah, the link is still up. Out of curiosity, was this linked off of any page? Historically, it had been featured on the main page for Rock 100.5 and on TRG's page. I didn't see it linked from anywhere which is why my question first came up.

However, if its not being promoted on air, perhaps there's some squelching going on. Paging Rodney (who I'm sure has more entertaining things to investigate)! ;-)
 
They are no longer giving the Diamond to Steve's 390 instead some guy will win it to give to his girl. Steve probably did not wait to pork 390 so they changed the promo. Yeah c'mon.
 
Sounds like the contest was a bit questionable- along the lines of "What would you do for 311 tickets?"
The one firing Crash never came back from.
 
The contest was mentioned on-air this past Friday prior to the "Inside the Actor's Studio" segment.

The new rules were discussed, but there was no mention that the rules had changed since the introduction of the contest.
 
Perhaps the sponsor, Salomon Bros. thought it was inappropriate. It is more of D. Geller & Sons idea.
