Regular Guys syndicated

All Access is reporting that the Regular Guys will also be on 93.3 the Bone in Dallas starting Monday.

There have been several hints in the last couple of months. I even posted one here asking if this was coming. This week they unveiled a 888 number for all of their internet listeners. They have slightly tweaked the show also. They have barely made mention of Rock 100.5. They have also started repeating segments in the 7:00 hour from the day before if they happened in the 9:00 hour and were strong segments like a special guest. That never happened before.

Any ideas how TRG may fare against Lex & Terry in their own backyard?

I personally hope for a win, as L&T flat out blow.

They are MUCH better than Lex and Terry who basically rely heavy on phoners for content. But... with Southside Steve they are regionalized...so it may take a while for outsiders to warm up to them but I think they win in the end.

Could the Bert Show end up syndicated to KRBE Houston?

LOL - "Everybody Is A Star" - Sly and The Family Stone

If they ever syndicated a button-pushing noise maker up the road from me, and I had to listen, that would be the day the stereo became the pile of rubbish the parking garage in the commercial, where the guy torches it and stands there watching it - unless, of course, I just threw it over a cliff like the woman after him.

WTG TRG!

Props to TRG for getting a TX gig. I expected something to happen soon since the 1-888 # started last week and you could tell the show production was going a little different with more TRG intros being played. It sounded like when Boortz first went syndicated several years back.

I hope it works out, but they've been in ATL for so long and with Southside on the team it will still be very ATL based. It could work out as it's a decent show. I've been listening since they came to town after hearing them on a few visit I made to LA before they quit out there.

At least a show that's been fired twice and still on in the same city they've been fired from is now getting the chance to play other major markets.

Now if "WNNX" could only have a better signal into north Gwinnett county so I could pick up the show on the whole drive in that would be fantastic! Maybe they'll flip back with Q100 and get a stronger signal! :) (we can only hope right?)

Didn't John Boy & Billy used to have a station in Dallas? I don't see one listed now on their site. In my hometown of Columbus when WVRK-FM Rock 103 picked them up ... at first people moaned and wrote nasty letters to the editor, especially wanting music back in the morning. Within a year peoples' attitudes changed, when I walked into the office almost every morning it was "Did you hear John Boy & Billy this morning?" Keep in mind Columbus, Ga is the kind of a place were people write letters to the editor to complain that such and such a road is being widened and you can't do that because "it's been two-lane for thirty years" ... or better yet, letters to the editor quoting the Bible.
