Reid Lamberty Out At WHDH-7

Reid Lamberty, weeknight news co-anchor at WHDH-7 for the past two years, has been let go by the station.

There has been as yet no word from either side as to why he is out.

Since June 6th, Adam Williams has co-anchored the weeknight 6 and 11 P.M. newscasts in Lamberty's place.

TV Spy.com story: http://www.mediabistro.com/tvspy/reid-lamberty-out-at-bostons-whdh_b93505 .

Although this move came after the May sweeps, it came just before the Stanley Cup Finals, which should bring a much larger than usual audience to WHDH's 11 P.M. newscasts given that the Boston Bruins will be playing.

They also let Dylan Dryer go, as well as Larry Ridley. Sad to see them go. Whoever they replace, I hope they can be the same way as them two, there is no replacing all three.
They also keep changing their schedules around. Like you said, Adam Williams is on at night, (example=in two weeks)<<< example. In two weeks, if you turn their channel on, hoping to see Adam Williams, he won't be on there anymore because he's on in the morning<<<<<example
They are always changing the News Reporters schedule around. If they keep doing that, it might confuse the viewer, or they might lose viewers?

Dylan Dreyer left WHDH to join NBC's "Today Show", where she does the weather reports on the Saturday and Sunday editions. She also fills in for Al Roker when he is either on vacation or assignment.

she also helped a few fridays ago on msnbc during the tornado scare in the midwest

The point is that it was not 7's decision to let Dylan go. She resigned of her own free will for a better position at the network level.

Yeah Yeah Yeah, I've seen her on the "Today Show"
