RELEVANT RADIO LAYS OFF 28

Green Bay Press Gazette reports that 28 staffers from Relevant Radio
have been laid off. Network is restructuring, due to revenues projected
are not matching what's being sent in.

Non-profit company announced a new CEO in September 2006.

Also known as Starboard.

Preface Note - This news kind of surprised me - but more than likely it is just a restructuring. During the last Relevant Radio (RR) pledge drive (late August), Drew talked about a long term growth plan to get on the air in the 50 capital cities in the US, and on "X" number of the 10 or 20 major media markets (I don't remember what "X" was) - and they sounded pretty confident that their business model would eventually get them there. So like I said, I was a little surprised by the news - but its probably just a restructuring.
