Religious network to start broadcasting 24/7 from Empire State Bldg

UANetwork is announcing that they will launch an over the air signal that will reach 11 million viewers in August. It appears that most of the programs are from the CBN network.

Just wondering where they will turn up? Also wondering if we will ever get ME-TV, even if it means WZME (with about half of the network schedule pre-empted for advertising) does something to extend their reach? Is RTV (I guess now known as "retro tv") still drawing any type of an audience?

I think I can now answer one of my own questions -- just noticed on UA Network's website a logo that indicates 47.2. If that is correct, it would displace Exitos, which I assume could go to 47.3 which once existed for SOi TV.

47.2 is a reference to its Dallas station.

Thanks for the heads up, I now see that 47.2 logo for Dallas. So then why would they place that logo next to a photo of the Empire State Building and the words "The UAN is coming to New York" -- so misleading!

It's their profile picture on the website that's hosting the video.

Thanks again. I noticed that UAN has since updated the photo on their web page.

I also noticed that the usual commercial programming on channel 17.1 here in New York has been replaced. One thing I did see was an announcement that the new UANetwork is looking for program hosts for a variety of shows such as cooking, pets and other topics. Right after that, at the bottom of the hour, was the following message on screen: "You are watching KUGB channel 28 Houston."

I'm wondering how long this network will be around.
