As long as you're naming shows that used to run on stations, I recall seeing a listing for "Sunshine Factory" on WMBC. I can't say that I've watched the show, however.

I'll actually say this is a good thing. With the sheer number of shows you list, there would be no time for any real programming for children.

Personally, I'm of the opinion that religious programming, particularly that aimed at kids, should be specifically labelled, tagged, and require clearance by parental controls. Especially "stealth" religious programming.

There is no reason we should tolerate people using the public airwaves to recruit innocent children into their deviant minority lifestyle without suitable warnings for parents to decide whether or not they want their kids exposed to it.

Agreed.
These so called children's shows are actually infomercials at best and that is being charitable.
It is good that they were never on and it was no loss, in fact it might have been a net gain.

In Chicago there idea of "kid's programming" is old episodes of "New Zoo Revue," featuring Emmy Jo in hot pants and go-go boots

LOL

Still I miss "Davey and Goliath," sure it was religious but I am sad thinking kids don't have that to watch anymore.

Hey, is that NZR "outtake" still floating around the Internet? ;D
