Remaining JAM Media Solutions Kill Devil Hills Signals Taken Off Air

In general, this story is such a shame. These owners that defer maintenance over literally years are under the false impression that somehow it won't catch up to them to the point where remaining in operation becomes unsustainable. Here's a prime example where they desperately need to remain operational, yet their past decisions won't allow them to.
I've seen this happen over and over. Small market owners and management won't take a pay or benefits cut when times get tight, but instead won't buy that transmission tube, pay for tower maintenance, or come current with their contract engineer.

Resort towns can be difficult for radio sales. 35,000+ population in Dare County. Since it's chapter 7 sooner or later there will be a sale. Somebody with local sales abilities could pick this up at the correct price with some funding to "weather prior" the facilities, repair or replace what is needed, and possibly make a go of it. Except for the Hurricanes nice place to live if you like to fish.
