Remember Bandy & Bailey on KICKS?

This is sad news: Michael Bandy (37) is in the hospital and dying of liver failure, according to Country Aircheck.

Say a prayer.

That's sad to hear,he is such a nice guy, prayers to him and his family. I rember when they came in to replace fish boy.

WOW...That's awful news. I did not know him that well but we knew each other from working together at Kicks. He was a big fan of radio and even ran a little part-15 station from his home in Atlanta. I knew he liked to have adult beverages and guess it caught up with him. Very sad and just hope the best for him now.

According to WVLK-AM, sister station to "The Bear 92.9" here in Lexington, KY, Michael Bandy (37) passed away today.

My thoughts are with his family and friends in this time me sadness. Anyone who ever worked with him knows what a kind and generous man he was. RIP

Not trying to be insensitive here but does anyone know if his liver problem was due to alcohol? I had drinks with Bandy more than a few times. Just trying to understand if this could have been avoided.

The man passed away only a couple of days ago and his family has not even laid him to rest, yet you feel this is an appropriate time to ask that question. You're a class act, Inside. You know, sometimes it's okay to just let things be as they are for a while while people grieve.

If not now when? 6 months from now? Never? Look, I knew the guy, did you? It's tragic and if it was caused by alcohol MAYBE someone can benefit by waking up and changing his/her lifestyle. If this had nothing to do with alcohol then my sincere apologies. Losing anyone at 37 is horrible... losing someone at 37 when it could've been avoided? Even worse.

It's all about timing, which you obviously don't get. Have someone in your life explain to you how to be respectful of a person who has just passed away. If you have to ask me when the timing is right to pose your original question, then you have a lot to learn that goes far beyond the scope of this message board. Perhaps you should check out one of the other threads on the board and let the adults here pay respect to a fellow professional who tragically lost his life.
