Remember Charles Adler who used to do a WRKO show...think it was 7-10 pm, and the 8pm hour was simulcast on Ch. 68. Apparently he's gone back to his native Canada where he does a syndicated talk show. Fybush's

Do you remember...from 9/16/96(found online): "Rico Petrocelli was fired last week by one of the Sox TV affiliates for throwing a pie in the face of a talk show host. The former Sox infielder was making light of WABU commentator Chuck Adler's criticism of Red Sox manager Kevin Kennedy, when Petrocelli said he had something for Adler that Kennedy might like to deliver himself. Petrocelli the host of the station's pregame and postgame shows, then hit Adler with the pie. Adler laughed at the time but grew angry when the cameras were off. Petrocelli who was obviously joking tried to make amends, but was fired the next day. "We have no comment at this time," station spokesman Eric Goldstein told The Associated Press. WABU shares Red Sox television rights with cable's New England Sports Network. Adler is the host of "Adler On-Line."
