Remember "Clubhouse 22" on WKEF-TV in Dayton?

This was one hip kid's show in the early 70s...even teenagers tuned in after school to watch a long-haired (and peace sign sporting)Malcolm McLeaud (billed simply as "Malcolm") and his cohorts "Mr. Dog"(later "Duffy the Dog" thanks to a contest promotion) and Stan The Man..a hamburger headed type of puppet character. Sometimes he would feature area rock bands on his show including The Elders(a Dayton based Top 40 band.) Cameo appeances by radio personalities Steve Kirk of WING and even Wolfman Jack were known to pop in at the spur of the moment in addition to some now rare animated cartoons of Krazy Kat,Snuffy Smith,Beetle Bailey and Cool McCool(all King Features characters.) Later on they aired some classic Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies as the show gained momentum. "Dr. Creep" (Dayton's answer to Cincinatti's "Cool Ghoul" on WXIX-TV and Indy's Sammy Terry on WTTV) was also on hand to pop in on the show.
