Remember "S#*! My Dad Says"? Get Ready For "T#!$ In The Pits"

Starz is considering a series revolving around a female race team owner. The show's title, "Tits In The Pits," is "a nod to the old school NASCAR saying, No tits in the pits."

If greenlighted, how long do you think this show might last?

Oh, and you know the PTC will be standing by... Lucky for them, they'll only be complaining to one broadcasting entity, as opposed to hundreds of affiliates. ::)

And as Starz is a premium cable channel, there's nothing the PTC can do about it -- any complains from them will be like leaking oil into the wind. (Take that as you will.)

No tits in the pits?

Just took another look at Danica Patrick's swimsuit photos in SI.
I think the saying still applies. ;D

Nice gratuitous swipe at the Parents' Television Council.

Do you really think they're going to waste their time complaining about something on a premium cable channel? The PTC's indecency campaign is limited to broadcast television only. Their only cable activity is the Cable Consumer Choice Campaign - similar to a call by others for à la carte cable, where consumers can buy only the cable channels they want and not be required to take those they find objectionable in addition because that's what the package offers. How evil of them.

You'd figure they'd at least kick Starz' tires (to borrow a racing-oriented pun) on the title of the show. Certainly, PTC's going after CBS for the now-defunct William Shatner show was predictable (and you'll recall that I did call that one here on this board). You'd have to wonder if they'll be irked by the title of this new series.

Why man? If they're not important, just put them outta your mind. When you're thinking about them, they're slowing down your post totals. ;D
