Remember Spike From WYSP? He's Back

Not only will he be a sports update anchor on KYW, and a substitute host on WIP (his dad Howard still has a semi-regular weekend gig on WIP), he wil also be the editor of CBSPhilly.com's sports page.

So he goes from one job to three of them. Good work if you can get it.

uh...that's more like one full-time job when added all together...LOL...but ok. Substitute host? Sports update person? That's a hard fall from a full-time daypart on 94 WYSP, know what I mean? Is DtotheJ his mom or Spike himself? ;)

I have no idea what you're talking about there... ::) But it would be good to see Spike follow in his father's sports footsteps. Perhaps this is just a start.

I believe Spike's shift on WIP is a regular one. He said on twitter the other night that he's working 10-1 and postgame on weeknights. Sounds pretty regular to me.

Good for Spike. I like when local host can find a new gig in the same city and not have to move half way across the country to get a new job.
