REMEMBER TONY BRISTOL'S AIRBOUND SHOW?

It was that show spotlighting new music that's been off the air a while but per All Access Red Wolf Broadcasting has filed another petition to deny the renewals of 15 Citadel stations due to the pay-for-play show. Four labels spent up to $11,500 weekly. Red Wolf claims there was only a disclaimer at the end of the show referring to promotional consideration from the labels but no identification of the front & back sells which they claim were scripted by the labels. Stations within listening range which ran the show are WPRO-FM,FUN107,& WXLO.

I remember Airbound. I think the last couple of weeks, Tony had to actually said "this song was paid by ____" either before or after every song. The funny thing about the show was that they'd play a song like it's the next big thing, and the song was already really high on the charts. But then I remembered it was a PRO-FM production and they're a bit late on the uptake sometimes anyway.

The best part about the show was they played the same song TWICE in the 1 hour program.

And they would say the this song is paid for by... crap each time.

God bless them. haha
