Remember when Radio stations tracked Santa?

Some may still do it; but I remember it was a big deal in the early and mid 60's on Christmas Eve for stations to air NORAD's Santa tracking.

Birmingham's TV stations, especially Fox 6 and ABC 33/40, still do this. I don't know if I've ever heard the Santa tracker on the radio.
