Remembering Mix 98-5, the first 10 years.

Musically they were basically 2 era's: The early 90's and the late 90's. The former the station being Hot AC with an urban/Rhythmic learning and the later being Modern AC. While I liked both incarnations, I liked the Modern era better.

They had no less than 3 owners during this time period: Atlantic Ventures, American Radio Systems and CBS radio. They had a failed attempt at a merger with Pyramid during the early to mid 90's, and then decided to buy WCGY instead.

Anyone have any found memories of the first 10 years at all?

" Lights Out Boston" was a great late night show on Mix 98.5 .
