Reminder: Larry Glick on With Steve Leveille at Midnight tonight.

Glick University will be in session tonight.
Larry Glick will be Steve Leveille's guest for 2hours tonight on his 'BZ
talk program.... unless WBZ Management "spikes" the guest.

Maybe, Bush's Secretary of Education called "the suits" at WBZ and asked them to call off classes tonight at Glick University.

<font color=green> Of his listeners, who was the kid that always had all the information on NASA? I'm assuming he's dead. Same with the ubiquitous Jim from Quincyand Mr.Show biz, Robert from Everett. Whatever red wine Larry is drinking, I need to get some: he's outlasted everybody.</font>

Yes, I think Larry is 81 or 82. I know his was older than Jerry Williams.

Re: "Commander Glick" did 3 hours last night!

The "Commander" wound up doing 3 hours(that's half the number of hours he used to do overnights on 'BZ...)with Steve last night.
Larry gave good phone to callers and heard from a one-time producer of his program when he was at WMEX, and also had a call from "Muck"!<P ID="signature">______________
"Be seeing you..."</P>

Larry lasted longer than I did but I did hear his former producer from the Old... and Real WMEX. First name is John. He is now out in LA doing video production he said but told some fun stories about Larry and Mac Richmond who owned 'MEX and was notoriously cheap. Jerry Williams always told the story how he had to chase Richmond down the corridors to get his check.

Actually, it almost sounded like Steve Leveille was guesting on Larry Glick's show.

Guess, they don't make them like Larry anymore.

PS Anyone remember when Larry did an all nighter from a car dealership on Albany Street in Boston called Dario's ? It was around 1965. The "boys" owned the dealership and well... it didn't last long. Think it is a FedEx truck stop now.

i had the chance to hear the final ten minutes (on my way to work) and
loved Larry's final comment to Steve:
"tell that Peter Casey i said YOU did a great job!"

Steve, of course, in heaven as he is truly able to appreciate the
fact that a childhood radio idol stayed up (most likely) WAY past
a normal bedtime to revist his old neighborhood.

Larry mentioned along with his Legal Seafoods gig, he's got a few
other irons in the fire, and by his own admission, maybe too much.
but the latter was offered with a wink & a nod.

Larry sounds great, still. i'll have to try the swordfish at Legal's
next trip to Florida, even if it's a seriously long detour.
