REMINDER: RETRO ANTENNA TV NETWORK BEGINS AT MIDNIGHT ET

The retro Anteanna TV network starts up at midnight on about 37
sub channels and even some cable systems across the country.

To check your city and cable go to www.antennatv.tv

WSFL 39.3 Miami is already running comedy clips from their upcoming shows, and every now and then Gary Owens' voice comes on.

I am working, but I set the VCR for the official start.

As much as I like the lineup and I hope they will be a success I wouldn't be surprised that within the next few years I can see some 25 year old consultant telling them "..hey if you want to reach the most important demographic for which in turn will only increase sales you will need to do away with the classic sh*t and do reality shows plus reruns of CSI".

I don't see Antenna TV lasting for very long.

What about RTV? They've been around since 2005, yet they've practically stuck to their mostly-classic TV schedule.

That means that Antenna TV will start at 11 P.M. on WQAD-TV. I, for one, will try to catch the premiere....

About 15 minutes away before Antenna TV officially goes on the air. Since the network only has 1 feed, it'll debut in Chicago on WGN-TV 9.2 at 11pm CT. I'm waiting for the marathons to go away before I actually checkout the channel to its fullest.

True but with three classic networks..I can only see one sticking with the format say in 2014, the others...well
Of course its way too early to say which one it will be.

Not seeing it in Cleveland/Akron/Canton, Ohio as yet..Too far away to get an OTA signal on WJW-TV 8, and Havent seen it on Time Warner yet..Not technically supposed to start on TWC till tomorrow according to their customer press release..

Alas, the Milwaukee version of Antenna TV (WITI 6.2) isn't running the previously-advertised BURNS AND ALLEN SHOW, WILD BILL HICKOK, THE IRON HORSE, CIRCUS BOY, RIN TIN TIN or any of the Screen Gems dramatic anthologies. Instead, it's top-heavy with color sitcoms, mostly from the 1970s and 1980s.

This is because Antenna TV had trouble getting a hold of quality prints of these series; for now, they've been replaced with more-well-known series.

Thanks for the information on the "missing" Antenna TV shows.
Their copies of the 3 Stooges weren't up to the DVD standards, but still watchable. I think that audiences would accept second-rate prints if they wanted to see the shows.

What about a possible merger of at least two of the three? The question could be which ones merge? I'd prefer for Antenna TV and ME-TV to merge since they have more shows I like than RTV.

Check in the 370s range digitally, where all the other local subchannels are. (We don't have digital TWC service at the OMW World Headquarters[tm], so we can't check.)

WJW launched Antenna TV as scheduled on OTA 8.2 at midnight. We have antenna placement that generally gets WJW OTA, though it can break up due to atmospheric conditions - like in the warmer-than-usual weather on Friday night.

From these posts I get the feeling that Antenna had a rough and rocky start. I must say that
most on here were probably expecting something more from Tribune.........
what have we got here Retro TV PT.2???? It seems some affiliates are still not up.

On the other hand, Me-TV just seemed to flip the switch (for their 3 stations).......which
probably was a lot easier since they were almost already in place and had fewer stations.

IVY-TV does not have Antenna. E-mail support(a)ivi.tv and request it. The more who ask
the sooner they will probably add it.

Me-TV start up A
Antenna TV start up C+

Antennatv has been on in Portland, Or since Friday, audio only! I get Krcw 32.1 and 32.3, but 32.2, antennatv it says Audio Service! How can a sub channel require a better antenna than the main channel? No one else seems to have this problem! I'm 40 miles sw of Portland. I get all other Portland channels, but antennatv!! I use TWO indoor antenna's to achive my channels!! I must be in The Twilight Zone!!

Just showed up on Time Warner in Canton/Akron Ohio..Channel 988..Just before WIVM-LP 52 on 989 here in Canton..Showing a movie now..No data in the program guide as yet..The banner shows up as 988 WJWD2
