remix radio edits

Hey all: I have a station that plays dance music, but we try to limit our mixes to a time frame of 3-4 minutes. There seems to be a great deal of good mixes out there but they have the "club beat" at the beginning and end of each song which makes them 5-6 minutes. Was wondering if anyone knew of any good sites for radio remix edits.

Just make your own. You can do so very easily in a free program like Audacity. Chop off the first & last 30 or 60 seconds depending on the song.

I too use Promo only for radio edits,, but most my music is almost 80 percent mixshows.

Promo only is great, but they don't have a great deal of mixes though in the radio edit. Still a lot of great dance music that is not on their radio dance cd's.

There may be a few remixes in there, but mainly it's all NEW dance material...some stuff good, other's ehhhhhh.... but for $10 a month, it's a good start. I also raise my hand regarding Promo Only as well. You may also want to join a record pool, Dixie Dance Kings being one of them. http://www.dancekings.com/

It's a record pool from Canada. They have a ton of labels that service them.
