Renda Jax GM Gone

I thought this was news worthy enough to merit its' own string. Alcapone reported in the "Tom Murphy" string on Monday 5/1 that:"Renda/Jacksonville GM Bill Scull was let go today. Good luck in finding another job. Now maybe the Renda family will get smart and bring Pat Garrett in. Lord, can anyone who runs Renda hear KOOL. The music is all over the place and the it's never going to generate revenue with Briggs as PD. Mr Renda getta grip. Sales would happen if the station got some respect."Very well said. While I don't celebrate anyone loosing their job, I just don't understand why it took them so long especially given consistant poor results. With Pat Garrett returning to Jacksonville, there is opportunity for Renda to start again for not only KOOL but Sunny as well. Gees, even WEJZ finds itself loosing ground. Should Pat find a gig at Renda, one can only hope that he is given sufficient latitude to affect the necessary changes. It will take time and patience to get things moving in the right direction.

Did TR get smart about the way his Jax stations were being ran?? (come on this is second biggest market next to Pittsburgh) I hope and pray that Pat Garrett is going to come in at KOOL........Hey maybe TR junior will return to Jax to run the stations that he use to run at one time.....hey he did one heck of a job when he was here so if TR SR needs to get the stations on a turn around fast using his son could be the fast way to get jax up....(having four stations but not capturing the money from CC or Cox has to hurt) Well we will have to see.
