Rendel To NBC

Governor Ed Rendell (D-PA), has signed on with NBC/MSNBC as a political analyst, after finishing two terms in Harrisburg. I guess he is the new resident liberal replacing Olbermann. He worked for Comcast as an Eagles analyst after each football game, while serving as Governor. Hmmm. And now Comcast owns NBC. Hmmm.

Rumor has it they're already going to offer him a new 11 PM show on MSNBC: "Nation Of Wusses with Ed Rendell." Either that or he can be the de facto substitute host for Ed Schultz - it'll still be the "Ed Show"... :D

The 6 PM show has no name yet. I presume Cenk is still auditioning.

Thank you for posting the smiley face so we can know you're trying to be funny.

Maybe NBC is going to schedule a revival of The Sopranos.
If so Rendell would be the first guy I'd want at my casting call.

I flipped to the NBC broadcast affiliate in Boston after the SOTU speech, and there was JOE SCARBOROUGH! Hey, I thought there was supposed to be a wall of separation between NBC broadcast and MSNBC!
