This is really an issue for the Philly TV board but whatever...
I'm sure her medical coverage is far better than anything any of us will ever have - either what she gets as TelePrompTer reader or as a congressional wife. Of course, she may lose her congressional coverage if Fattah goes to jail.
There's also the rather basic question of ethics in journalism (if local TV news really qualifies as "journalism") of a news presenter married to a political figure in the same locality. But she gave up any claim to journalistic legitimacy when she allowed her artificially-induced pregnancy to be a news story - sweeps promotion.
Maybe she should go to the Manhattan Clinic for an endoscopy and bring along her own ENT (without surgical privileges) to do an unauthorized biopsy.
Local news Kens and local news Barbies come and go. They don't look quite good enough to be models or movie stars. They aren't talented or hard-working enough to be legitimate actors. And they can't be bothered with actual reporting, writing and editing, so they are not really journalists. They get grossly over-paid while it lasts. Meanwhile, under-paid actual writers and producers make them look almost competent.
