Replacement foam for basic headphones

I am looking for some very cheap ideas for replacing the foam on my headphones. The foam seems to have just disintegrated over the past 5 years of, basically, non-useage.

The original foam was not really anything of any great quality and was not anything that provided any padding or elimination of outside noise, so I was thinking some sort of readily available foam product might get the job done. I was thinking of just trimming up a piece of something and attaching it with glue or some other simple method.

The model is: Sennheiser HD 433 (for what its worth). As I recall they weren't very expensive at all but they were the best sounding for my particular hearing ability. :D

Thanks

Brian

Contact Sennheiser. They will supply replacement foams for a minimal cost.

Or, just get yourself a pair of AKG K240 studios. Can be had for under $100 online. excellent cans, but can be fragile...

Brian...

Call Mike at SCMS...800-438-6040 (I think)...He used to stock Sennheiser headphone parts...

I agree with Alan...I have always liked the sound of the AKG K240...
