Replacing Brinker On KGO...

KGO is seeking a replacement for Bob Brinker on Saturdays, and is entertaining suggestions on the station's Facebook page:

Brinker reportedly made the decision himself to cut back to Sundays only.

I'm wondering if there's any particular reason why the KGO Facebook page has titles and labels in cyrillic lettering (such as Прокомментировать · Мне нравится, and Зарегистрируйтесь на Facebook для того, чтобы связаться с KGO Newstalk 810 AM, San Francisco). Is this *really* KGO's Facebook page or is it the Russian mafia again trying to spoof KGO and get peoiple's passwords and such?

Oops, nevermind. It's Mozilla doing weird stuff again. I went to the page using Internet Explorer and it reads just fine.

Gabbert filled in yesterday, and announced several times that it was Brinker and not KGO who decided to drop Saturday. In a way, too bad, because Lynn Jimenez filled in often, and I thought she was better than Brinker.

I agree that she's better than Brinker. But best of all is Rob Black. I'd like to see KGO offer him a job.
