Replacing Olivier Serda as Cavs PA announcer?

I admit this is incredibly callous and heartless, but with Olivier Serda's recent hopitalization, this would be a great oppurtunity on the Cavaliers part to phase out their heavily criticized "hip hop/streetball" themed player introductions and revert back to a more traditional player introduction sequence.

It is incredibly callous, especially since the "hype" role is done by Ahmaad Crump. Olivier does a great job and we all wish him a speedy recovery.

Yeah Olivier is awesome as the PA guy, hope he gets back to it soon, was bummed to not hear him behind the mic for the win over the Mavericks. If you watch games from around the NBA, its clear that the Cavs probably have the best PA guy in the league. Some arenas have guys who are way too loud and over the top, and others are just way too dull and quiet. Olivier is spot on, much like Howie Chizek was for those teams in the 80s and 90s.

Between Joe Tait's calls and Howie doing the PA it is pretty much impossible not to smile when you hear some of those old Cavs highlights from the Price/Daugherty/Nance teams.
