Reporting indecent broadcasts

nd2023

Banned
Let's say for example I heard the f-word slip through in a song on a station's web stream, and I was recording that stream. Could I use the web stream recording as evidence for filing a complaint about an indecent broadcast? Or would the f-word have to be heard over the air for the complaint to be valid?

The FCC doesn't regulate Internet radio, and there's no way to prove that the Internet broadcast is exactly what went over the air.
