It appears that the station manager of KSTY 104.5 is close to purchasing the FM frequency at a bargain price (notably without KRLN-AM) with the intent (?) of putting Star Country back on the air in Fremont County. See Former Station Manager To Acquire Silent Colorado FM
One wrinkle is that Royal Gorge Broadcasting is hanging on to most existing studio equipment and intellectual property of KSTY. Watch this space.
