Republican Convention Channel on AT&T Uverse 0212

Yesterday I noticed an additional channel 212 on Uverse. Since I am totally blind
I had some1 read for me, says 2016 Republican Convention in Cleeveland later.
I am not noticing any similar channels on Dish.
Wonder if any1 can please provide info on 212, who's producing, or
a schedule? Certainly would be interesting if this were the
new Bittorrent channel?

Raw feed? but wait who is going to watch the AT&T edition of the convention? The vast majority of people tht want to watch the convention will simply watch them on apps issued by the Cable News/talk channels or a feed from CBSN and others.
 
Thanks so-far for comments. I agree, what would this channel offer that
C-Span would not? But unless some1 has seen a press releace,
how do we know its a "raw feed"? So like C-Span, it wouldn't
have an anchor during sessions? Thanks in advance
