REQUEST FOR TOMMY WOODS

HI Tom-
Was wondering if you have any airchecks from your days at WARM....late 50's, early 60's??? Sure would like to hear them if you do. I really liked the documentary on WVIA, but felt that it left out a whole lot as far as the individuals go..were you one of the "sensational seven"???

As I said, the you and the other jocks at WARM inspired me to go into radio; as a young fella I used to go by the Rex-craft building, see the remote trucks there and wondered about all the great things that came out of this magical place...heck, 40-some years later I still think about it when I see the building empty!!! Met Harry West at a live remote at a shopping center in the early 90's and at that point he was at WARM 38 years!!

Thanks.....you are one of my heros!!!

Wow...You bring up a lot of memories. To date...I do not have an air check of myself. I really never bothered to make any. I'm sure the bosses had a lot of them. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

The only one that may have one is Joey Shaver. He has a lot of the old memorabilia (spelling) ???

I have to give Joey a call and ask it about it. It's always nice to hear from former listeners. It gives me a WARM feeling (pardon the pun). I know my grandkids would love to hear grandpop's air check ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)
