Let me see if I can clarify for the OP, John. If you have cassette tapes with the roll call/work call on them, he/she wants you to post them so he/she can hear them and/or rip them. The Roll Call was people calling in to the Madd Hatta show and performing raps that said who they were, and what neighborhood they represented.
It basically went: What's up y'all, what'cha gotta say, who's on the phone with Hatta, Nicki, and Jay? Then as the caller, I'd say, "I'm the purpledevil, and I've got mad rhyme, I better hurry up 'fore I'm completely out of time." Their response is then: Oh that sounds cool, and that may be, but where ya calling from, what's your set G?
"I'm from the way far north, don't come out after dark, you may not survive, the walk through Camden Park!" To which they go "Camden, Camden Park, on the roll call, Camden, Camden Park, with the roll call, and then they go to the next caller.
Ok, so I'm lilly white and can't rap, but you get the idea...
Soooo...."what's up y'all, what'cha gotta say, if you want the 'devil's airchecks, you gonna hafta pay."

There's a better way to ask for airchecks than to tell us that "we can search if we have old tapes". Hey, thanks for the permission! Let me get right on it...
