...I assume this and all the other network newscasts were taped off the network line in Seattle and flown up overnight...

7:00 Monday Night Baseball: Detroit-Minnesota
...the NBC Game of the Week from Saturday, or did KENI somehow get a live feed (with Canadian assistance, perhaps?)...

Has to either be taped from Saturday or using a special satellite link from NBC -- Canada's first Anik satellite was not launched until November 1972.

Baseball-reference.com has the Twins playing the Tigers the week before. So this is Monday night baseball...just Monday, June 12th! (Detroit 2, Minnesota 1, BTW).
