I think Making A Living may have been the precursor, as I remember It's A Living in first-run syndication in the 80's.

Where were all these entertaining shows on TV when I was growing up? ;D
 
It was "It's A Living" when it debuted on ABC
in 1980. It changed back to the original title
when it went into first-run syndication, IIRC.
