In Baltimore, WMAR continued to carry nighttime Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! (the latter eventually moving to 7:30) after it became an ABC station. They moved to WBFF/FOX in 2012, with J! at 7:00 and WOF at 7:30 (meaning it gets pre-empted by Thursday Night Football and other sports pregames often). WNUV/CW carries reruns of the two shows on Sunday evenings.

WHP Harrisburg continues to carry the shows today, although it took until 2015 for them to finally start airing them in 16:9.

WHAG Hagerstown dropped WOF (and J! once they began carrying it) when it lost its NBC affiliation.

Interesting that Washington DC hadn't been carrying nighttime WOF yet, but Jeopardy!, which was revived in syndication thanks to WOF's success, was carried from the beginning. Both WOF and J! now air on WJLA/ABC at 7:00 and 7:30, respectively. Entertainment Tonight is now carried on WUSA/CBS at 7:30.

WDVM (now WUSA) aired Wheel at the time, but on that night it was preempted. The show aired on weeknights at 7:30pm from September 1983 until September 1990, when it moved to WJLA.
