IIRC there was a "Dialing for Dollars" movie with George Allan as the host. At one point they shifted "Guiding Light" to 10a (it may have been that summer).

Remember the great WSBK-TV "Movie Loft" with Dana Hershey? I found some old video tapes including the completely uncut version of The Boys in the band with nothing edited including the "C" word, they never edited movies. Probably the best independent TV station of all time. just to add additional sadness and
disgust....much of the national, regional and local advertisers in 1985 no longer exist Amoco (bought by BP) Jordan Marsh (shut down and turned into Macys)
Many banks all long ago swallowed up. Atlantic-Richfield (ARCO) Now only in 4 western states the list could go on for an hour.....Nothing left

I don't see channsls 27 and 68 listed after 5 pm. I believe they carried a subscription service
back at that time. It was called Preview. Please post listings for the Preview STV service for
that day(Tuesday 4/5/83). Also, post listings for the cable channels for that day.

What normally aired between 2 and 6 on WLNE then?

Something tells me "Sha Na Na" and "Psychic Confessions" weren't part of WLNE's regular daily lineup around this time... In 2011, they might be.

Each channel was a different premium service

27 was PREVIEW
68 was STARCASE

That Ryan's Four that was showing on WCVB, WMUR, and WPRI @ 9:30 P.M.: was that the last episode of it? It was shown as running for 90 minutes.
