re: WBDO
7 AM Archie's Fun House
7:30 Harlem Globetrotters

I believe that these were tape delayed from Sunday Mornings.
I'm not sure what time it was on ET, possibly 8-9am,
but KNXT 2 in L.A. aired it from 7-8am Sundays.

re: WLCY
7 AM Curiosity Shop
Same with this show. It aired at 10am ET/PT on ABC, followed by Bullwinkle
and Make a Wish.

On the west coast, NBC and ABC followed the Central time zone schedule, but CBS followed
the Eastern time zone schedule (aired from 8am-2pm instead of 7am-1pm)

Thanks for the schedule.

The two CBS shows did air 9-10 AM ET/8-9 AM
CT & PT on Sundays. Channel 44 carried "Archie's
Fun House" at 9 AM Sundays; Channel 11 carried
"Globetrotters" at 9:30.

Channels 9 and 40 carried "Curiosity Shop" Sundays
10-11 AM; it was aired on delay in Tampa/St. Pete.

10 PM 15th Annual Grammy Awards
(Record of the Year: Roberta Flack's
"The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face")
This was the first year the Grammys would be on CBS, where it has remained ever since (three years later, ABC -- which originally had the Grammys -- would be the permanent TV home for the Oscars).

This was the first year the Grammys would be on CBS, where it has remained ever since (three years later, ABC -- which originally had the Grammys -- would be the permanent TV home for the Oscars).
This was the first--and only--year the main ceremony was held in Nashville. The reason ABC bailed on the Grammys was they claimed Nashville could not attract non-country artists (probable translation: no way us bigshot types are going anywhere but NYC or LA). In order to fill that slot, ABC helped create the American Music Awards.

And after many decades on CBS, guess where the CMA Awards moved to in the 2000's? You guessed it...ABC!!!! (around that same time, CBS would snag the rival Academy of Country Music Awards from NBC)
